The Cultural Heritage Committee of the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors recognized local visionaries Claire Bogaard and Steve Haussler for their outstanding contributions to the preservation of Pasadena’s architectural heritage. Steve Haussler was honored with the 2008 Restoration and Preservation Award for his twenty-six year commitment to restore and preserve historically-significant homes and neighborhoods.
Throughout his career, Steve has sought to educate Buyers and Sellers about the benefits of maintaining the architectural integrity of our housing stock. From volunteering on behalf of Pasadena Heritage and the Friends of the Gamble House, to chairing Altadena Heritage, Steve has worked diligently to define and defend our neighborhood character and community history.
